PAULSON, Ole.

MN 9th Inf Co H. Residence: Blanchardville, Wisconsin. Born in Solör, Norway, 26 Apr 1832. Came to America in 1850. Married in 1857. Entered theological seminary in 1861, but left to join the army. Civil War: Served two years, holding rank of Second Lieutenant. Post war: After the war, he returned to the seminary. In 1868, he became the first Scandinavian pastor in Minneapolis.
