MN 9th Inf Co D. Residence: Rochester, Minnesota. Born “Aad Pedersen Løne” on 19 Mar 1843 in Voss, Hordaland, Norway, son of Peder Knudsen Løne and Ragnild Magnusdatter Sætre. He came to America with his parents and three siblings in 1845. Civil War: Age 21. Enrolled 26 Feb 1864. Mustered the same day. Recruit. Private. Discharged from the service with his regiment, 24 Aug 1865. Post war: Married on 9 Apr 1873 to Ingeborg Mebust. He lived at Byron, Minnesota, and later at Evansville, Minnesota. Ingeborg had eleven children of whom five survived her death. Ed then married Johanna O. Krogstad. Ed died in Aug 1925.
