US Army. Born 21 Jul 1914 in Steigen, Norway, a son of Peter and Kristine (Andreassen) Olsen. Came to America about 1930. Second World War: Was in the Army in 1943. Post war: Married on 8 May 1943 to Marie Paulson. He worked as an industrial engineer in Detroit and Skanee, Michigan. He died 11 Jun 2002 in L’Anse and is buried in the Skanee Cemetery.
