Joined H Company at Little Rock, Arkansas, on 3 May 1864, from the recruiting depot at Madison. On 27 Oct 1864, his name is on a list of men absent sick at Little Rock, Arkansas. On 30 Oct, he returned to duty. Mustered out with company on 29 Aug 1865 at Brownsville, Texas. Post war: A man with this name, then living at the National Home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was granted a pension of $16 a month because of a gunshot wound to his left hip.
