Captured by the enemy at Stone’s River, Tennessee, 31 Dec 1862. Exchanged through St. Louis, Missouri. Captured by the enemy again at Chickamauga, Georgia, 20 Sep 1863, and sent to Libby Prison, Richmond, Virginia. Died in Augusta, Georgia, 11 May 1864.
