Transferred to the Veterans Reserve Corps 28 Apr 1865. Discharged for disability on 31 Jul 1865 from Portsmouth Grove, Rhode Island. Post war: A veteran named Ole Severson of Rising Sun, Crawford County, in April 1879 was granted a pension of $4 a month because of the loss of part of his index and middle fingers of his right hand.
