Enlisted for three years on 15 Aug 1862 at Perry. Mustered 25 Oct 1862 at Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Private. Left sick at Helena, Arkansas, 13 Aug 1863. Absent sick at Little Rock, Arkansas, general hospital since 23 Mar 1864. Company records, dated 11 May 1865, show that Private Henry Stenson died of bronchitis and chronic dysentery “at his home” in Belleville, Dane County, Wisconsin, on 25 Jul 1864.
