Assigned to guard the commissary stores at Camp Ethridge on 23 Jun 1862. Seriously wounded at Stone’s River, Tennessee, on 31 Dec 1862 and sent to Nashville, Tennessee. Sick in Nashville again on 31 May, 31 Jul and 11 Nov 1863. Discharged from the service at Nashville for disability 19 Feb 1864. He is on the Roll of Honor.
