Designated Corporal on 1 Feb 1862. Sick in Bardstown, Kentucky, in July 1862. Missing and apparently wounded in Battle of Stone’s River, Tennessee, 31 Dec 1862. He had returned by 7 Jan 1862. He became unfit for service and was discharged from the service for disability at Columbus, Ohio, on 2 May 1862.
