He was on detail as ward master in the Confederate General Hospital in Tyler, Texas, from 4 May to 4 Jun 1862. Discharged for disability at Camo Clough, Texas, 28 Jun 1862. Post war: Lived in Texas. Died 14 May 1903 at Comanche, Comanche County, Texas.
