TX 11th Inf Co E. CSA. Born “Gregers Torjesen Muglebustad” on 29 Jan 1830 at Holt, Norway. Civil War: Gray eyes, sandy hair, fair complexion, 5’7”. Physician. Enlisted for three years or the war on 30 Apr 1862 at Camp; Lubbock, Texas. Private. Assigned as a hospital steward in Confederate General Hospital in Tyler, Texas, from 17 May to 24 Oct 1862. He was then discharged and commissioned Assistant Surgeon, with rank of Captain, and he served out the war at the Tyler hospital. Post war: He died about 1878 in Bosque County, Texas.
