WI 15th Inf Co I. Residence: Spring Prairie, Walworth County, Wisconsin. Civil War: Age 20. Unmarried. Enlisted for three years on 9 Nov 1861 at Madison, Wisconsin, and mustered there on 25 Nov 1861. Private. Sick in Nashville, Tennessee, 13 Sep 1863, and in Chattanooga, Tennessee, 18 Oct 1864. Was missing from the Regimental rolls for awhile but was found to have been sick in a hospital in Keokuk, Iowa, since mid October 1864. Sick at muster out of the 15th Regiment.
