Served temporarily as a clerk on the Brigade staff in May, 1863. Serving there as an Orderly on 1 Jun 1863. Served with the Division Supply train on 3 Sep 1863. Again on the Brigade staff on 6 Nov 1863. Transferred to the Brigade staff as Quartermaster Sergeant, 24 Dec 1864. Transferred to Company H, and served out his term of service.
