Bentwood Box

Round bentwood box constructed of a flat, hand planed base pegged to bentwood band forming side and reinforced with glue. Join is decoratively cut into three points held by birch root lacing. Slightly rounded cover made in same way with similar bentwood side fitting over bottom section. Line carved geometric motifs cover sides and top.
