Round bentwood box and cover with birch root laced seems. Deep burnt (svidekor) and incised decoration of stylized garland on sides and gothic rosette on cover. Varnished.
Inscriptions: K. J. D. 1839
Might have belonged to donor’s grandmother, Kari Myran who immigrated to the U.S. in 1841.
