Woven coverlet. 2 ply linen warp sett ca. 7epi. 2 ply wool weft, probably hand spun spelsau to which some animal hair may have beeen added. Appears vegetable dyed. Loosely beaten twill or rosepath treadled on boundweave. Bands of varying geometric motifs in reds, browns, and tans against running wheat colored background color. Overcast borders. Two pieces sewn together.
