Coverlet woven in two narrow sections. Linen warp singles, sett ca. 48-56 epi. Same background weft with 50/50 weave. Pattern is in a two-ply wool with intricate vertical bands of eight-pointed stars and diamonds. Red wool with same pattern in navy blue on all four borders. Probably executed with long-eyed heddles for pattern. Navy loop fringe on long sides, and added red/brown fringe on short sides. Voss-style of skillbragd technique.
