This fish server has a decoratively curved ladle with a raised rim on one side. There is also an engraved figure of a fisher woman against an open background in the center. The handle has a figure and anchor engraved along the upper section.

This server was made by Jacob Ulrich Holfeldt Tostrup, who became a master in 1832. He was a leader in the field in manufacture and sales methods. Although Tostrup died in 1890, his firm continued until 1992.
