Mangle Board

A mangle of an unusually large size. The rectangular board has a knob at the front for a hand grasp and a stylized horse for handle. There is ornate acanthus carving over entire top, and a very slight color stain on handles. It has a leather hanging loop on one end.
Leif Melgaard (1899-1991) was born in Gudbrandsdalen, Norway and immigrated to the United States in 1920.
