Standard stave construction with three legs and two rising end boards between which the cover is pegged and clamps. Legs and end boards are sculpturally modeled acanthus forms. Acanthus border around center and two bentwood bands. Cover has a large loop for a handle which is flanked by carved acanthus branches.
