Thick warp of linen or another bast fiber, ca. 10 epi. Z-spun two-ply spelsau wool weft. Billedvev (tapestry) techniques with hatching, outlining, and dovetail joins. Theme of Adoration of the Magi. Tapestry design divided into four sections. Three sections each have a Magi (wise man). The fourth section shows the Magi presenting gifts to Mary and the Christ child. Decorative borders.
Inscription: The Great Holy Three Kings Coming from Saba. (In Norwegian. Some letters not legible).
