Trunk with Hallingdal style rosemaling. The front of the trunk depicts male and female riders surrounded by elaborate tulip forms on a black background. Shallow arched lid with two centralized floral arrangements. Interior has a painted acanthus decoration in orange and blue on white.

Inscription: Anbier Ols Datter Neraal Fød 1787

According to Nils Ellingsgard (2004), “the trunk was possibly painted by Embrik Arnegard (1765-1842), Vabs, Al.”
