[Red book entry states he was “Discharged from the service by sentence of Court Martial at Alatoona, Georgia, 23 Sep 1864”.] Post war: After the war, he farmed near Albert Lea, Minnesota. Joined GAR at age 51. J. A. Lindahl died 9 Oct 1913 in Albert Lea, and was buried in Graceland Cemetery in an unmarked grave.
