WI 49th Inf Co B. Born 3 Jun 1843 at Tvidstand, Norway. Civil War: Age 20. Entered the service on 17 Feb 1865 in Wisconsin. Private. Discharged 8 Nov 1865 at Wisconsin. Post war: Died at age 68 of heart trouble on July 1911 at Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Sioux Falls, in Pinelawn addition, lot 225.
