Private. Detached and on Military Police duty 27 Oct 1862. Wounded at Chickamauga, Georgia, 19 Sep 1863, and taken prisoner. Died in the Confederate prison at Atlanta, Georgia, date not known. In the prison register, he is entered as No. 6473, and the man who bore that number is buried at National Cemetery at Marietta, Georgia; section A, grave 216.
