US Army 136th Inf Co B. Born 1 Feb 1887 at Krenlijenn, Norway, son of Andrew Berg and Sesken. First World War: Age 29. Entered service on 6 Oct 1917 at Elk Point, South Dakota. Private. Later, he served in the 342nd Machine Gun Battalion of the 89th Division. Discharged 11 Dec 1917.
