ERIKSON, Anders

WI 15th Inf Co B. Residence: Door Creek, Dane County, Wisconsin. Born 12 Jan 1841 in Norway. Civil War: Age 21. Unmarried. Enlisted for three years on 11 Dec 1861 at Madison, Wisconsin, and mustered there the same day. Private. Took part in battles of Perryville, Stone’s River, Chickamauga, Missionary Ridge, and Chattanooga. Served as an orderly in Hospital No. 2 at Murfreesboro from 1 Mar 1863. Mustered out with Company B at Chattanooga, Tennessee, on 1 Dec 1864. Post war: Married to Julia Anderson. Died 17 Jul 1907 of heart trouble at age 66 in Union County, South Dakota. Buried in Brule Creek Cemetery, Spink Township, Union County, block 1, lot 53, grave 4.
