He came to Delafield Township, Waukesha County, Wisconsin, and moved by 1860 to Scandinavia Township, Waupaca County. Civil War: Age 41. Farmer. Married. Blue eyes, brown hair, dark complexion, 5’8”. Enlisted for one year on 23 Jan 1865 at Scandinavia. Mustered 10 Feb 1865 at Madison, Wisconsin. Bounty $100, $33.33 paid. Private. Post war: He died in 1896 and was buried at Iola, Waupaca County.
