Bounty $300, $120 still due at muster out. Private. Recruit. Joined regiment on 20 Feb 1864; assigned to Company H the next day. On 18 Apr 1865, John Hanson was absent sick at General Hospital in Mobile. Furloughed for 60 days 21 May 1865. On 27 Jul 1865, company records show “John Hanson furlough expired, absent without leave.” Mustered out 20 Sept 1865 at Madison, Wisconsin.
