Fined $5 on 15 May 1863 by sentence of Regimental Provost. Wounded, shot under his left eye, at Chickamauga, Georgia, 19 Sep 1863 and taken prisoner. Paroled and sent to hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Discharged from the service at U. S. Hospital No.8, Nashville, Tennessee, 30 Apr 1864, for disability on account of his wound.
