Private. Drummer. Assigned as Principal Musician of the Regimental staff on 1 May 1862. Reduced to Musician and sent back to B Company on 31 Aug 1862. Sick in Chattanooga, Tennessee, 24 Nov 1863. Taken prisoner near Knoxville, Tennessee, 1 Jan 1864. Died in prison at Richmond, Virginia, on 20 Mar 1864. Buried in Cemetery at Richmond.
