Blue eyes, dark hair, light complexion, 5’5”. Enlisted for one year on 10 Feb 1865 at Dale, Wisconsin. Enlistment credited to Lowville, Columbia County. Mustered 20 Feb 1865 at Madison, Wisconsin. Bounty $100, $33.33 paid. Private. Mustered out 4 Sep 1865. Post war: He died 21 Aug 1909, and is buried in Grace Lutheran Cemetery in Winchester.
