Enlisted for three years on 14 Aug 1862 at Argyle, Wisconsin. Mustered 18 Oct 1862 at Camp Utley, Racine, Wisconsin. Bounty paid at muster $25 (of $100 total). Private. Died 9 Nov 1863, due to diarrhea, in the regimental hospital at Natchez, Mississippi.
