Six children, Ole, Louise, Louis, Nels, Caroline, Andrew, all born in Wisconsin. Civil War: Brick maker. Age 37. Black eyes, dark hair, fair complexion, 6’. Enlisted for three years on 20 Jan 1864 at Christiania. Mustered 30 Jan 1864 at Camp Washburn, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Bounty paid $60 (a portion of amount due). Private.
