Disappeared during Battle of Stone’s River, Tennessee, 31 Dec 1862; was arrested and returned to duty the same day. [Meeker writes that Larson was “Wounded at Stone’s River. Taken prisoner at Stone’s River.”] Assigned as an escort with the provision transport on 13 Oct 1863. Mustered out with Company D on 13 Feb 1865 at Chattanooga, Tennessee.
