WI 14th Inf Co C. Residence: Omro, Winnebago County, Wisconsin. Born “Tobias Tobiasen Møller” on 8 Oct 1841 at Sokndal, Rogaland, Norway, son of Tobias Møller and Christine Elle. He came to America with his parents and siblings on the brig “Juno”, which sailed from Arendal, Aust Agder, on 4 Jul 1849 and arrived in New York on 18 Aug 1849. They came to Winneconne Township, Winnebago County. Civil War: Farmer. Age 22. Gray eyes, brown hair, light complexion, 5’8”. Enlisted for three years on 2 Feb 1864 at Omro, Wisconsin. Mustered 11 Mar 1864 at Madison, Wisconsin. Recruit. Private. Was in the Sherman Campaign until after the battle of Atlanta. Was in the siege of Spanish Fort.
