Was with the provisions transport from Stevenson, Alabama, in October 1863. Sick in Chattanooga, Tennessee, 28 Nov 1863. Taken prisoner at New Hope Church, Georgia, 27 May 1864, and died of scurvy in Andersonville Prison on 4 Oct 1864. Buried there in grave 10,289.
