WI 15th Inf Co F. Residence: Door County, Wisconsin. Civil War: Age 32. Married. Enlisted for three years on 24 Feb 1862 at Door County and mustered at Madison, Wisconsin, 1 Mar 1862. Private. Sick in regimental hospital 20 Jul 1862 and in Iuka, Mississippi, 21 Aug 1862. Became unfit for service and was discharged from the service in Quincy, Illinois, on 10 Apr 1863, for disability.
