WI 27th Inf Co A. Residence: Kewaunee, Kewaunee County, Wisconsin. Civil War: Age 28. Carpenter. Blue eyes, light hair, light complexion, 5’7½”. Enlisted for three years on 15 Aug 1862 at Kewaunee. Mustered 23 Oct 1862 at Milwaukee. Private. Wounded in skirmish near Camden, Mississippi, in April 1863. Sent to General hospital at Milwaukee on 19 Apr 1865.
