Private. Sick in a hospital at Nashville, Tennessee, on 1 Aug, on 26 Nov and on 26 Dec 1862. “Has not been heard from since and is dropped as deserter”, Company E clerk wrote on roster of 31 Aug 1864. Charles Olson died at Nashville Hospital on 14 Jan 1863 and is buried at the National Cemetery there; section B, grave 1075.
