Civil War: Farmer. Age 20. Gray eyes, brown hair, light complexion, 5’8”. Enlisted for three years on 4 Feb 1864 at Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Mustered 4 Mar 1864 at Camp Washburn, Milwaukee. Bounty paid $60 (a portion of amount due). Recruit. Private. Died of disease 23 Sep 1864 aboard the hospital Steamer “Diana” on the Mississippi River.
