Civil War: Farmer. Age 36. Married. Blue eyes, brown hair, light complexion, 5’10”. Enlisted for one year on 11 Feb 1865 at Amherst, and mustered 22 Feb 1865 at Madison, Wisconsin. Bounty $100. Private. Mustered out with this Company on 27 Sep 1865 at Nashville, Tennessee. Post war: He lived at Amherst, Wisconsin. Adam Peterson died 5 Mar 1913 and was buried at Nelsonville.
