Civil War: Age 23. Unmarried. Enlisted for three years on 24 Feb 1862 in Door County and mustered at Madison, Wisconsin, 1 Mar 1862. Private. Died of disease in general hospital at Iuka, Mississippi, 25 Aug 1862. Buried in National Cemetery at Corinth, Mississippi.
