Enrolled for one year on 25 Oct 1864 at Milwaukee, Wisconsin, as a substitute for William Tickerman (Flickerman ?) of Menomonee, Waukesha County, Wisconsin. Mustered the same day. Private. Wounded in the battle of Gravely Run, Virginia, 31 Mar 1865. Discharged from the service 28 Jun 1865. Later, he lived at Story City, Iowa. Died in 1890.
