Wagonmaster. Designated Sergeant on 14 Jan 1862. Left behind sick in Bowling Green, Kentucky, 17 Sep 1862. He was in Evansville, Indiana, 25 Feb 1863; was demoted, reduced to Private. By mid-October 1864, he was reported to be in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. It was said he was discharged; there is no record of his being mustered out.
