Woven with a linen warp and wool weft, though the black color may be horse hair. Woven in a pattern of crosses, diamonds, and eight-petal flowers in rutevev (square weave) with double interlock joins. A row of crosses and kjerringtenner (old woman’s teeth) on top and bottom borders.
