Knit with very fine yarn and needles, the pattern on the backs of these mittens is known as the “daddy long legs” motif. The palms have a pattern of a stylized flower and diamond-shaped spaces. A band of boy and girl dancers circles the wrists. The cuffs are long, with two bands of stripes.
