Stave tankard with attached flip-up lid and curved handle with pointed flaring top. Black with Valdres style floral painting. Rust colored root or vining bands near top and bottom.
Made by Severt Rasmuson, born in 1883, Hornindal, Nordfjord, Sogn og Fjordane, Norway and emigrated to the United States in 1903.
