This child’s knit tunic or dress is done in the style of traditional Sami clothing. While Sami clothing is usually made of wool felt, this is knit of white yarn with bands of blue, yellow, and red points at the neck, cuffs, and skirt bottom. The spiral increase pattern gives flare to skirt. The front neck opening is closed with a braided wool tasseled cord. A knitted red, blue, and yellow band belt runs through braided loops.
