Private. Served overseas from 26 Sep 1918 to 11 Nov 1918. Discharged 29 May 1919 at Camp Dodge, Iowa. Post war: Married Ida Rasmussen. Killed in an accident on 10 Sep 1940 at Sioux City, Iowa, at age 44. Buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Alcester, South Dakota, block 33, lot 2, grave 8.
